2021 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Mac Jones
Add yet another name to the top-loaded quarterback class with Mac Jones. Succeeding Tua Tagovailoa, Jones had huge shoes to fill. He filled them and then some.

Today marks exactly a month away from day one of the 2021 NFL Draft. This week, the NFL world was hit with two massive trades that re-shaped the landscape of the draft.
On Friday, the Eagles made their second big trade of the offseason, trading back with the Miami Dolphins to pick number 12 in the first round. With that in mind, the Eagles will have 11 total picks this year, so let’s look at what they could do with them.
The 2020 NFL season was one to forget for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite injuries derailing their season, the Cowboys were still in the playoff race come Week 17. The good news is the offseason has gone much better than the regular season. Dallas holds the 10th pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has several holes that need to be filled.
The new league year is nearly two weeks old. With many high-profile signings and even a couple of league-altering trades in the books, it’s time to dive into yet another mock draft. This two-round mock features 11 new pick swaps, including one that involves players.
The Tennessee Titans were quite active during the free agency period. The Titans’ biggest holes remaining are cornerback, receiver, tight end, right tackle, and strong safety. Depth at linebacker and pass rusher could also be addressed.
After redshirting his freshman season, Tyler Vaughns became a four-year starter at the University of Southern California. Vaughns has been one of the most productive receivers in USC history, as he sits at ninth overall all-time for the Trojans.
The 2020 draft class was hinted to have the best wide receiver group in history. This year’s class seems to be potentially even better, especially at the top.
The Baltimore Ravens were mainly quiet in free agency as they usually are. Aside from trying to sign a veteran wide receiver, the Ravens had only one meaningful signing, adding former New York Giants’ guard Kevin Zeitler. Despite losing a couple of starters, the Ravens don’t have many holes on paper to fill in the draft.
Monstrosity alert! Penei Sewell is an absolute beast. He is young, athletic, and straight-up dangerous. Like Quenton Nelson coming out of Notre Dame, many think Sewell already is projected to wear a gold jacket at the end of his career.
Each year, there are plenty of players that gain some steam pre-draft and shoot up draft boards. Whether that be as a result of a good pro day or other factors, it always happens. In Kelvin Joseph’s case, he has skyrocketed up draft boards because of his potential.
There were a couple of quick NFL Draft trades today between the 49ers, Eagles, and Dolphins. How does this affect each team’s future?
