With over seven quarterbacks expected to be picked within the first two days of the NFL Draft, teams in need of some depth at the position could be looking at some day-three guys. Brady White is one of these quarterbacks getting this day three attention.
Khyiris Tonga is one of the more intriguing interior defensive linemen in the 2021 NFL draft class. He possesses awesome physical strength, above-average move skills, and the versatility to be shifted across the line of scrimmage.
Missouri is sending two safeties to the NFL this year. Both of Tyree Gillespie and Joshuah Bledsoe are sleepers and many people’s “my-guys” in the safety class. Gillespie is more of the free safety type, while Bledsoe is more of a nickel corner/strong safety type of player. Bledsoe hasn’t taken many reps as a deep safety, and that might hurt his draft stock and sink him to the day three conversation.
Wyatt Hubert is a very interesting prospect. For a true edge rusher, Hubert is a tad undersized. He does know how to make the best of this situation though and can always be seen working to gain leverage on the line.
If an NFL team is needing a corner come day three, Ambry Thomas could be the guy to select. He has the prototypical NFL length and it has shown on the field. He is one of the most experienced man-coverage corners in this draft class, as that was pretty much all he played in Michigan’s defense. Thomas currently holds some day-three projections but could make some noise in day two if corners go early and often.
Walker Little may be the most interesting offensive lineman in the entire 2021 NFL Draft class. Having not taken an in-game snap since late August of 2019, there are some fair concerns about the Stanford man. However, in the games that he played in, Little played every bit like a top-class NFL offensive lineman prospect.
Tyler Shelvin will appeal to any NFL team looking for a classic, space-eating nose tackle in the 2021 NFL Draft. Especially if those teams are prepared to wait for a bargain in the later rounds. A team willing to let him play to his strengths will land a steal.
