Daryl Morey, longtime general manager for the Rockets stepped down from his position and is now in Philadelphia. He was the one who brought former MVP James Harden from Oklahoma City to Houston.
“If there’s a next thing that can take us to another level, I’m open to it”, Pat Riley said during his press conference last Friday. After reaching the NBA Finals this year, the Miami Heat are still looking to add another star. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo remains the team’s number one target. The next one on the list is Bradley Beal. For the past two years, Miami has tried to acquire Beal from the Washington Wizards but failed.
The Los Angeles Clippers disappointing season is officially in the past. Doc Rivers is out, with Ty Lue taking over as the team’s head coach. More changes are coming, as the Clippers need to show Kawhi Leonard he does not need to entertain free agency next offseason.

News broke early Tuesday that Daryl Morey and the 76ers are in agreement on a deal to make Morey the head of the team’s Basketball Operations.
