Corrigan’s Gambling Corner: College Football Week 6
Its time to get hot. I am not a fan of this cold streak that I am on. The good news is, there is a lot to love on the board this weekend.

While the recent picks have struggled to make us money, tonight we have an excellent set of options to bet on. This is the perfect evening to buck the trend before we head into this weekend of football.
It’s Thursday, and that means we have football on tonight. The game is a good one as Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head North to face Nick Foles and the Chicago Bears. This is the first matchup of former Super Bowl MVPs since they joined their new teams.
Welp, I finally had the worst gambling weekend of my life. My previously undefeated college football streak took a massive hit on Saturday. I took the day off yesterday so I would be sharper for today. Not only do we have two MNF games, we have two playoff baseball games. This is the perfect chance to get back on track.
Thanks to Covid-19, the 2020 NFL season will be one full of on the fly changes. After Cam Newton tested positive Saturday, the league decided to push back the New England Patriots’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs to Monday night.
On Thursday night, we got an entertaining game between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets. Despite the over/under total closing at 41 points in most spots, the game easily went over the total as the final score was 37-28.
Much like every week, I went undefeated in the College slate of games and then stunk in the NFL. For the record, I am undefeated on college football bets this season and have no intention of stopping that hot streak anytime soon.
Last week, SEC Football lived up to all the hype. Many overestimated LSU’s ability to play even close to how they did last year. Georgia and Alabama didn’t hold up to form and failed to beat their conference opponents by four touchdowns. Let’s see how things shake out this week.
Ryan Potts gives his Week 4 picks against the spread and score predictions.
Talk about two terrible Thursday Night Football games in a row. However, the show must go on, and we need a big rebound week in the NFL. As always, the only thing better than watching football is making money off of football.
Tonight we have the battle of winless teams. The Denver Broncos head east to New York to take on the Jets. The team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket.
