It’s Thanksgiving Week! I’d like to wish all of my friends south of the border a Happy Thanksgiving! As a Canadian, I will forever be jealous of your national holiday stuffed with turkey and football.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hopefully, you are getting ready to spend time with family and friends while eating turkey and enjoying some NFL action. Like every year, we have three games on Thanksgiving. First up at 12:30 pm EST is the Chicago Bears at the Detroit Lions, followed by the Buffalo Bills at the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 pm EST, and to close out the night is the New Orleans Saints at the Atlanta Falcons at 8:20 pm EST. The highlight of this week is a battle of two NFC titans: the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers. Can the Niners shut down Aaron Rodgers and this Packers’ offense?
This time next week all of us will be enjoying Thanksgiving with three football games on. Unfortunately, that’s not till next week and we have to get through another week of football first. The good news is this is the last week of the season with teams on a bye. Fantasy owners will be without their star players on the Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Minnesota Vikings this week. However, tonight’s matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans should offer an entertaining game.
Playoffs continue to inch closer and closer. I know my leagues are coming down the to the wire, so I’m sure you’re going through the same thing. If not, consider yourself one of the lucky ones and keep up the hard work! Glory doesn’t come to those who don’t put in the work. If you’re out of the playoff hunt, I hope you haven’t stopped playing wanting to play spoiler to league mates and screwing them over. That’s also a fun alternative while preparing for next season. Nonetheless, I do hope y’all are staying competitive throughout the rest of the season to nab some bragging rights of sorts.
