Saturday is poised to have a full slate of baseball spanning from the early afternoon to the wee hours of the night. In order to help you prepare for the seven-game night slate, let’s break down the players that will put some money in your pocket.
Another weekend is upon us and we get to kick it off with plenty of baseball. 15 games all toll on the MLB schedule. Top tier pitching will likely be paid up for so value plays today will be very important to target. Let’s get right into it and go Around the Horn!
We have some afternoon baseball today as well as evening games. For this write up the matinees as well as the evening games will all be included. Games start at 1:00 Eastern so be sure to submit your entries on time. No real threat of rainouts other than a possibility of light rain in the Blue Jays and White Sox tilt at Progressive Field. Many teams are off tonight, which is normally the case on Mondays, but the slate tonight on Draftkings seems even lesser with only six games. That shouldn’t stop us from trying to make some money, and may even help us narrow down the best options. Without further ado, let’s get right into the best spend up, value, and stacks for tonight.
I’m sure many baseball fans were convinced that Tyler Glasnow’s season was over when they heard he left the game Friday night with forearm tightness in his throwing arm. There were many armchair doctors on Twitter and other social media sites who had him diagnosed with all sorts of ailments, without any medical testing or knowledge of what they were talking about.

Reynaldo Lopez, SP CHI (CLE, TOR)
Let’s face it. Reynaldo Lopez is erratic and inconsistent. But so is baseball and so are most two-start pitchers available on the waiver wire.
Pretty much everybody that I gave to you yesterday performed well in some capacity, with the exception of Joey Gallo who went 0-4 with four strikeouts. Today, I want more consistency from my picks than I got yesterday. The Rockies and Padres game was a let-down offensively and the wrong part of the Phillies’ lineup went off yesterday. Both pitchers earned quality starts and Jacob deGrom even went 2-3 with a double, a single, and an RBI. Let’s get into today’s picks.
Last time I did MLB DFS was last Sunday and my Mariners’ stack had a great day against the Indians. Hopefully, today’s picks are just as good and help you guys win some cash. All prices will be DraftKings prices.
