MLB DFS Diamond Picks

Welcome to MLB DFS Diamond Picks. The 2020 Season is finally here, albeit with some hiccups and other inconveniences all related to the current state of the pandemic. Hopefully, we can turn to Major League Baseball for the next few months or so as it represents for many,  a sense of normalcy. I have four games circled on the docket for daily fantasy selections. Let’s break down the picks and see if we can build some winning combinations.

MLB DFS July 25: Welcome Back

Now that the opening games are over, its time to really hit the ground running. I am not normally a DFS guy, I prefer the sports gambling side of things but I am going to give this a go.

MLB DFS July 24: Opening Day

WELCOME BACK! BASEBALL IS FINALLY HERE! As of last night, the games matter. Season-long fantasy is going to be extremely difficult to manage and stay on top of this season, with all of the uncertainty ahead. However, on a daily basis, we should be able to narrow down some solid choices to have good production (and actually play, which is maybe the most important part of this current Covid-19 baseball world). With that said, I’m really sick of talking about the pandemic, as I’m sure you are too. It’s baseball time, so let’s get to that. Here are some players I’ll be rolling with tonight.

NASCAR DFS Super Start Batteries 400

It was a Richard Childress 1-2 finish at Texas, as Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick would lead the way to the checkered flag. Ryan Blaney would in fact dominate a majority of the event, having led the first two race stages and 150 of the 334 laps in total. However, due to a foolish mistake caused by Quin Houff, with under 30 laps left. They would need to throw out a caution, reshuffling the deck. With the caution, a majority of the top cars would stay on the track while both Dillon and Reddick would choose to hit pit lane. This decision proved to pay off in the long run for the two Childress drivers.

Austin Cindric left Kentucky Speedway on cloud nine, as he would sweep the doubleheader. Cindric makes history as the only driver to win two straight nights at Kentucky. The only other NASCAR driver to have ever won on back to back nights at one track was in fact Richard Petty. Cindric is currently locked into third place in the Xfinity standings, just 14 points behind Noah Gragson.

Nascar DFS: Bristol All-Star Race

Wednesday night the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Thunder Valley for the 2020 All-Star race. The race will not have any points on the line. Instead, the winner will receive one million dollars. Second place will receive nothing except for being the first loser. It will be checkers or wreckers for every one of these drivers so we will get to see them leave it all on the line for the top prize. That will make daily fantasy very tough to pick this week.

NASCAR DFS Quaker State 400

What looked like a potential victory for Denny Hamlin at the Brickyard 400 on Sunday afternoon, would end up being dashed within a blink of an eye. With just seven laps left to go and leading second-place driver Kevin Harvick by just under a second, his right front tire would give out.

NASCAR Cup Series DFS: Brickyard 400

This week the NASCAR Cup Series heads to the track most famous for the Indy cars and the Indianapolis 500. The race this weekend is the Brickyard 400. The 400 is not nearly as big as the 500. However, it is still one of those races that drivers really want to win. Kissing the bricks is a huge moment for the teams no matter which series they are racing in.
