The NFL schedule “release” is on May 11th at 8 pm EST. Now some schedules have already been released. For example, the Green Bay Packers’ schedule has already been fully released. Yet, the Carolina Panthers’ schedule has not been fully released. However, there are hints to the game, with one being revealed (via the Packers leaking their schedule to the public). Here are the recent clues regarding the Carolina Panthers’ schedule for the 2023 NFL season.
Week 1: Atlanta Falcons vs Carolina Panthers
There is a picture that is on the Panthers’ official Twitter account with red feathers appearing to fall from the sky. This would have to signal that the Carolina Panthers will be playing the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1. Here is why, the falcons are the only one of two bird teams Carolina is playing this season (the other one is the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle). In addition, the Seahawks do not have red on their uniforms or logo.

Now the question is, would that game occur in Atlanta or Charlotte? I predict Atlanta because, almost every year, the Panthers play in ATL in the first match-up of the series. This will be a good match-up because they are both NFC South teams with the potential to make some noise this season.
Week 16: Green Bay Packers vs Carolina Panthers
The Green Bay Packers’ schedule has been leaked to the public. The match-up between them and the Panthers is slated for Noon on Christmas Eve (12/24) in Charlotte, North Carolina. We saw what happened last time an NFC North team played in Charlotte on Christmas Eve (the massacre of the Detroit Lions)
Packers' full 2023 schedule (per source):
– Five prime time games even without Rodgers
– Love's first game as full-time starter will be in Chicago
– Thanksgiving in Detroit
– Davante Adams vs. Packers for first time on MNF Week 5
– Super Bowl champs at Lambeau on SNF Week 13 pic.twitter.com/lBvES4Wlmf

This game is going to be intriguing for the same reason the Falcons game is going to be interesting. Both teams have something to prove (especially the Packers with everything that has transpired this off-season with Aaron Rodgers). Essentially, if this game were an NFL prospect, it would be Boom or Bust (Much like Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson).
One TNF Game
This season the Carolina Panthers will at least have on Thursday Night game. For the past three seasons, the Panthers have had at least one Thursday night game (two versus the Falcons and one versus the Houston Texans). We saw how the Thursday night game played out last season, so why not have another one this season?
Final Thoughts
There are obvious things that will be on the schedule, for example, a couple of 4:25 pm EST games, the Atlanta Falcons, the New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers series’, and most of Carolina’s games being on FOX. Other things are not as obvious outside of divisional match-ups. At 8 pm, we will find out the Carolina Panthers’ schedule for the 2023-2024 NFL Season.
