Call of Duty Paris announced its starting team on Thursday, a full day later than they had previously promised. With Call of Duty transitioning to a franchise format for the 2020 season, the 12 organizations have begun to announce their rosters.
The squad consists of three Australian players all of who had previously played for Mindfreak – Shockz, Louqa, and Denz. Americans KiSMET and Phantomz, Englishman Zed, and Frenchman Breszy round out the rest of the squad. It is unknown at this time who will be on the starting lineup once this season kicks off.
Shockz and Louqa were part of one of the most dominant amateur teams during the Black Ops 4, winning events in London and Anaheim and finishing second at Fort Worth.
Denz left Mindfreak in 2018 to join Team Reciprocity where he was initially slated as a starter. Things didn’t quite live up to expectation for Denz as he was later demoted in March. Fortunate for Denz the demotion was short lived as he was promoted once again in May.
KiSMET and Breszy were both part of one of the most surprising teams at CoD Champs, finishing in fourth place with Enigma Six Group after taking down powerhouse teams Luminosity and UNITS in the Winners Bracket.
Zed had an impressible strong season with Team Reciprocity after joining them in October of 2018 finishing Top 6 at Champs. On the other hand, Phantomz split his time last year between three different teams.
Paris is the third of 12 teams to announce their full rosters, following New York and London.
