Belichick Gives Response to Marsh’s Criticism

Cassius Marsh has been in the press lately with his not-so positive comments about the atmosphere in New England.

Marsh was traded to from the Seattle Seahawks to the New England Patriots and subsequently traded to the San Francisco 49ers where he hasn’t held back about his feelings towards the AFC Champions.

“There’s nothing fun about it,” Marsh said. “There’s nothing happy about it. I didn’t enjoy any of my time there, you know what I’m saying? It made me for the first time in my life think about not playing football because I hated it that much.”

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick stated in his pre-OTA press conference that the team is continuing to try and get better towards the beginning of the season.

“Yeah, we’re focused on what we’re doing, trying to get better and taking each day we can to try to improve our football team,” Belichick said. “Not really focused on what everybody else is doing.”

Belichick kept it simple with what the team’s goal is overall and what is prioritized over everything.

“We feel what’s important to us is to win,” he said. “So that’s really what we’re trying to do.”
