The Lions enter as slight favorites over the Bears in Week 14.

Chicago Bears

The Bears are coming off of their bye week at 4-8. Their last game was a 12-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in which they didn’t score a single touchdown. Simply put, however, they’ll need to score touchdowns if they want a chance against the Lions. With the defense playing at an elite level these past few weeks, the offense needs to step up and complement them.

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have hit a bit of a rough patch. While still winning, the team’s defense has been revealed to be a glaring weakness. Over the past four games, they’ve allowed an average of 30.25 points per game. It’s a scary sight for a team hoping to make a deep playoff run. With the offense continuing to roll as usual, improvement on defense is paramount. A dominant defensive performance against the Bears offense could re-ignite the spark in a unit that was playing at a high level earlier in the season.

Record vs. Chicago: 78-104-5
Most Recent Victory vs. Chicago: 11/19/2023, won 31-26

Notable Injuries: QB Hendon Hooker, C Frank Ragnow, LB Malcolm Rodriguez, LB Alex Anzalone (Unspecified)
X-Factors: QB Jared Goff, WR Amon Ra St.-Brown, RT Penei Sewell, DE Aidan Hutchinson, S Brian Branch
