Simply put, however, they’ll need to score touchdowns if they want a chance against the Lions. With the defense playing at an elite level these past few weeks, the offense needs to step up and complement them.

The Detroit Lions have hit a bit of a rough patch. While still winning, the team’s defense has been revealed to be a glaring weakness. Over the past four games, they’ve allowed an average of 30.25 points per game. It’s a scary sight for a team hoping to make a deep playoff run. With the offense continuing to roll as usual, improvement on defense is paramount. A dominant defensive performance against the Bears offense could re-ignite the spark in a unit that was playing at a high level earlier in the season.
