The unstoppable Lions host the lowly Bears as heavy favorites.

Chicago Bears

The Bears are coming off a 16-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers with backup Tyson Bagent under center. Now, after much controversy, starter Justin Fields is back. At 3-7, Chicago has the slight possibility of hitting a late-season stride, and a win in Detroit against a dominant Lions team would be a great start to a potential surge. It’ll lie on the shoulders of Fields, though, who has seven games to prove he’s the franchise quarterback for Chicago.

The Bears haven’t won a divisional game since Thanksgiving of 2021, but the time to end that is now. Chicago is the healthiest they’ve been all season and looks to spoil the Lions’ streak of dominance with an upset victory.

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have won six of their last seven games, sit atop the NFC North, and look like one of the best teams in the NFL. This breakout was expected by many, but the Lions being legit Super Bowl contenders is surprising and impressive to anyone. They look to improve to 8-2 and strengthen their grip on the division with a win over the Bears. Detroit is playing with house money. Their sights aren’t just set on the playoffs but on a championship.
