Philadelphia Phillies Mount Rushmore

The Philadelphia Phillies have won two World Series championships in their history which dates all the way back to 1883 as the Philadephia Quakers, one in 1980 and the recent one in 2008. With such a long history that they have, the Phillies have been underwhelming as far as postseason success goes, to say the least. They do have their fair share of memorable players, but they are certainly not up to the level of teams with similar long histories, such as the New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds. Team Award Predictions: Philadelphia Eagles

Last season, the Philadelphia Eagles sneaked into the playoffs following four straight wins to close out the season. Unfortunately, Carson Wentz got knocked out in the first quarter of their Wild Card game against the Seattle Seahawks, which they went on to lose 17-9. Throughout the season, their biggest hole was their receiving corp with the secondary not too far behind. Over the offseason, they did their best to fill those holes by adding pieces like Darius Slay and Jalen Reagor. With the new additions, expectations are very high for them to return to the playoffs and further.

New York Yankees Mount Rushmore

The New York Yankees are not just the most historic franchise in the history of baseball, but in all of sports, with 27 World Series championships and 40 American League pennants. With that, that they have so many historic and great players and it is hard to keep this list to just four. The tradition, the interlocking “NY” on their pinstriped jerseys, the love for them, the love to hate them mentality, and the success makes them the real “America’s Team” not those certain Jerry Jones-led Cowboys in the National Football League. Anyway, let’s get into the Yankees’ four greatest players of all time with plenty of honorable mentions.
