With six teams on bye this week, our start/sit decisions become more crucial than ever. While it is tough to sit players who have a decent role on their team, it is the tough decisions that separate the champions from everyone else. Based on this week’s matchups, I recommend starting and sitting the following players.
It’s the middle of the NFL season but you are coming down to the final five or six weeks of your fantasy season. The trade deadline is approaching and you are trying to give your team a boost for the stretch run. Four of our Fantasy Football Experts got together and made lists of their top players for the Rest of the Season and here it is.
The trade deadline has come and gone. There are some new players on new teams and that means that guys are going to be stepping up into larger roles. There are also a few guys that will be fantasy relevant in a week or two, so it is best to jump on them a week early and stay ahead of the curve. In addition, the most important thing that you can do to make sure your team is in contention is to make sure there are no stars that were dropped due to recent struggles. For example, Larry Fitzgerald and Kenyan Drake were dropped all across fantasy football at some point this season, so make sure there are no studs lingering on your wire. Remember, you can’t save you Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) for next year, so use it while there are still players worth adding. The following waiver wire adds reflect a FAAB of $100.

These next few weeks are going to be the difference between making the playoffs and focusing on the next season and daily fantasy sports. It is crucial that we roll out the best lineups possible and exploit the matchups that are screaming elite production. This week the Steelers, Raiders, Seahawks, and Packers are on a bye so we need to dig deep to fill those empty roster spots with players who are going to produce in their absence. Due mainly to their matchups this week, the following are the players I recommend starting and sitting for Week 7 to give you an edge at bringing home the W.
