2019/20 Team Outlook: Toronto Maple Leafs

Leafs Nation, who let’s be honest, are some of the most widespread, loyal, and in their own minds,  most knowledgeable fan bases in all of hockey. Fans are already chomping at the bit and are quick to point out who should be playing on what line and with whom. Last season the “Buds” got bounced (yet again) in the first round of the playoffs by their biggest nemesis, the Boston Bruins. Things need to change and management has made some significant moves in order to give highly paid coach Mike Babcock the best tools for a long and prosperous playoff run. Let’s take a look at where the 2019/2020 Toronto Maple Leafs fit in in a very deep and improving Eastern Conference.

DraftKings Around the Horn August 29th, 2019

A more simplistic slate awaits us for Thursday night as we have just six games to breakdown. Just like last night, Colorado appears to be where high scoring is most likely to occur. We will get to pitching momentarily, first up is a glance at the highest implied run totals for today’s 11 game evening slate. A massive run line of 14 runs easily leads the way as the Boston Red Sox, who all the sudden are running along very nicely(8-3 in their last 11), visit Coors Field and the Colorado Rockies.
