Magic vs HEAT reaction

It took a huge night from three-point range for the Miami Heat to beat the Orlando Magic. The Heat hit a franchise-record 22 three-pointers in their 116-113 win over the Magic. Miami’s previous record was 21, which was set back in 2017. With the win, the Heat’s season record is now 40-22, one more than last season’s win total.

Here are my takeaways from the Heat’s win over the Magic.

The Miami Heat are now the only team to beat the Milwaukee Bucks twice. In what was an impressive defensive performance, the Heat defeated the Bucks 105-89. The 89 points scored by the Bucks were a season-low for them. Miami is now 39-22 for the season and three games back of the third seeded Boston Celtics.

Unlike the previous two games, there was no late-game collapse this time. The Miami Heat blew another double-digit lead on Friday but responded with a strong fourth quarter to seal the victory. HEAT vs Cavs Reaction

Simply inexcusable. The Miami Heat had a chance to back up Saturday’s home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with a road win. They were on their way to doing that with a 22 point lead heading into the fourth period. But then, they lost the fourth quarter and eventually lost the game in Overtime. Now, Miami finds itself 13-18 on the road and only 1/2 game up over the Philadelphia 76ers for the fourth seed.

HEAT vs Hawks reaction

The goal coming out of the All-star break was to play better on the road. That didn’t start off well with the Miami Heat losing to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. Unable to stop Trae Young, the Heat fell to the Hawks 129-124. The loss puts the Heat road record to 13-17 for the season. If Miami wants to make noise in the playoffs, they have to find a way to play better on the road.

Here are my takeaways from Thursday’s loss to Atlanta.

HEAT vs Jazz Reaction

After a rough five-game road trip, the Miami Heat are looking forward to the All-star break. In a battle of teams with identical 35-18 records, the Utah Jazz came out on top. Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz’s killer threes down the stretch were too much to overcome.

Miami is now 35-18 for the season.

Report: HEAT Interested in Acquiring Danilo Gallinari

We’ve only a few days away from the NBA trade deadline. Typically, teams will look for deals that can significantly improve their chances in their conference. Last year, the Toronto Raptors acquired Marc Gasol, a move that helped them win last year’s championship. The Miami Heat are reportedly looking to do the same this week.
