The Atlanta Hawks are firing head coach Lloyd Pierce after a 14-20 start to the season. It makes sense as the Hawks are ranked towards the bottom of the barrel in all important categories.

The Hawks have lost 11 of their last 15 games and are ranked towards the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

They are oozing potential with Super Stars such as Trae Young, John Collins, Danilo Gallinari, Kevin Huerter, and Clint Cappela.
The Hawks are still an extremely young franchise and are trying to piece it together to become a contender in the NBA. Unfortunately for Pierce, he just never was able to put it all together, and that caused the Hawks front office to pull the trigger.

Hawks fans can breathe a sigh of relief as they try to turn the ship around in the second half of the season.

It is yet to be seen who will take over this job. We know one thing, the Hawks young guns are pretty happy Pierce is out.
