There has been a whole mess of new arena media projects getting underway in such a short time. One that has been put on notice is Absolute Arena.
Absolute Arena was founded by someone who wishes to keep their identity a secret. They did talk about why they started their site, however.”While our background and experience is skewed more towards outdoor than indoor football, arena ball has always been a “guilty pleasure,'” they said. “Even though it often times hides in the shadows of outdoor football, the sport’s high energy and fast-paced gameplay has always made it enjoyable to watch and play. There are so many different leagues filled with all sorts of different types and calibers of players.
“It’s like a whole new world a lot of people don’t know about. And sometimes things aren’t always so peachy in the sports world, especially in developmental leagues. We started Absolute Arena in hopes to tackle some of those more hard-hitting stories about both the good and the bad happenings in the arena football community.”
Their most popular work is a series which they call “What’s the Deal with the (insert team name here)?. The two teams they have taken a closer look at is the Pittsburgh Defenders and Jenson Beach Tigers. They wouldn’t tell which team(s) were next on their list, but judging by the first two articles, expect good stuff.Other new social media accounts include Inside the Walls, AFL Endzone, Word on Da Streets, Rough and Ready and the Ambush Sports Network.
