Antonio Brown Issues Longest Apology on Social Media

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown is hoping to make amends.

On Instagram, Brown issued a long-form apology in a caption that highlighted the mistakes he has made and how he  wants to do his best to make up for them.

Brown caught four passes and a touchdown in his only appearance as a New England Patriot before being released after 11 days.

But since his release, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and most team members appear to be behind a reunion. Brady himself liked the apology post and has been an active follower of his former teammate since his departure.

Commenters have speculated however that this message is coming from Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus. While this could be the case, Brown could very well feel this way and want to get back on the field sooner rather than later.

From One Dynasty to Another: Chiefs, Mahomes in Rare Company

In the 2000s and 2010s, we had the NFL’s first two-decade-long dynasty with the New England Patriots. The Tom Brady dynasty ended upon his transition to Tampa Bay, but the league seems to have already found its replacement. The newest NFL dynasty features Patrick Mahomes at the helm.

  1. For Christ’s sake, Bill, hire the guy back. We need him. Don’t make him have to suck your wang to get back on the team.

  2. If it was really Antonio Brown who posted the latest apology via Instagram, he makes no mention of, or makes an apology to the RAIDERS organization and it’s fans. Which should be the case for his immature and wrongful behavior to the RAIDERS organization and the RAIDERS fan’s. The RAIDERS organization and it’s fan’s did everything to treat him right – (Bent Over Backwards). And all he did was conduct himself without class.

    If he truly is sorry,
He should make mention of that and apologize, Apologize to Mike Mayock, and the RAIDERS organization, and it’s fan’s .

Heck, he should apologize the whole league of the NFL and it’s.fan’s

  3. This is bob kraft not bill…and it’s sad that a little old man cant let go of some bullshit the NFLs best reciever made. The guy was blasted for things not proven and never criminally charged with anything. Civil manners should not be considered in punishment to anyone. Every has there side of the story. We need AB and hope mr kraft gets that through his egotistical brain of his…if anything Kraft should be the one apologizing.

    1. Why do you say that Kraft can’t forgive some “little bullshit” by AB when his conduct and behavior was unacceptable but you look at it as no big deal? There are too many talented receivers in this league who can fill the place of players like AB who are too arrogant in the later part of their career to behave like he did. This is the risk and consequences he thought he was excluded from. For example, the helmet issue with the Raiders, really? Then the prime time interview with AB saying that if they cannot accommodate his personal helmet preference “that he is good with walking away from football cause he has too much money?” But you put Kraft down and think just forgive AB and welcome him back to the job he disrespected and gave up and everything will be cool then? I agree with you about forgiving AB but the NFL is a business that has expectations and responsibilities for quality character of all their players, coaches, and employees. AB can certainly play still, but his arrogance and cocky attitude may be too much for him to recover from now even with this social media apology.

  4. AB was not convicted of anything. He’s innocent until proven guilty and should’ve never been let go on presumption. His apology seems sincere and he should come back. Brady and Edelman really need his help. Bring AB back!

  5. bring him back he is needed I am a long time fan and feel things slipping away. We don’t have brink we need this buy
