The rumors have finally ended, as Anthony Davis has reportedly been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks. Of the picks include the fourth overall pick for the 2019 NBA Draft that occurs in five days.

Davis has been the most talked about player this year, with clear intentions of wanting out of New Orleans. LeBron James will have his piece and star-studded teammate in LA, while the other rumored teams will now have to look elsewhere this summer.

The 2012 first overall pick from Kentucky makes the first move of his career, having been a six-time All-Star for the Pelicans. With the Lakers clearing out young talent, it will be clear that they want to be all in for Davis long term, as the Chicago native’s contract is up at the end of next season.
