The Tennessee Titans and free agent tight end Adam Humphries agreed to a four-year contract worth $36 million, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. that the deal is worth $36MM over four years.

2018 was the right time for a contract year for Humphries, who posted attractive numbers over the course of 16 games and 10 starts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He reeled in 76 of the 105 passes thrown in his direction for 816 yards and five touchdowns.
Last season, the undrafted Clemson product, now 26, set career-highs in starts, targets, receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
Signing with Tennessee wasn’t a no-brainer for Humphries, as ESPN’s Dianna Russini reports it took a while for the Titans to beat out the New England Patriots in a bidding war for the 5-foot-11 receiver.

Locking down a receiver for several years to come was a large priority for the Titans entering this offseason, and they get it done on the first day of the legal tampering period by signing Humphries.
