The New England Patriots have added some talent to their roster a day before their last preseason game.
Per Field Yates, the Super Bowl champions have reportedly traded for offensive lineman Korey Cunningham
Cunningham, 24, was drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of the University of Cincinnati.
He has played in six games in 2018 starting in all of them after left tackle D. J. Humphries went down with an injury. Cunningham sustained with a foot injury late in the season and was placed on injured reserve.
Cunningham is not a player who will come in and start right away for the Patriots. He however offers starting experience behind tackles Isaiah Wynn and Marcus Cannon on both sides.
The ones who might have their chances at roster spots affected are Dan Skipper and Cole Croston who have seen quite a bit of playing time this preseason.
