3 Burning Questions: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s that time of year again. Here are three burning questions for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tompa Bay really came true?

With more than a handful of suitors interested in signing the six-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady decided to begin his next NFL chapter in Tampa Bay.

The future Hall of Famer is looking to add one more accomplishment to his plaque in Canton as he tries to be the first quarterback in NFL history to lead his team to a Super Bowl in his home stadium.

If that comes to fruition, all remaining debates about who is the greatest quarterback of all-time will be silenced once and for all.

With talented and big-play receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin along with tight ends O.J. Howard and Rob Gronkowski, Brady may have never had this powerful of an arsenal before.

Is Gronk still a top tight end?

Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski came out of retirement to follow his former quarterback to Tampa Bay.

After constant rumors last season that the star tight end was contemplating a return, it never came to fruition. Now, he will have more to prove to Brady than ever.

After taking a year off, it will be interesting to see if he still belongs in the conversation with Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Zach Ertz as the league’s best tight ends.

Is it Super Bowl or bust?

Anything short of the Super Bowl will be a letdown for the Buccaneers.

In reality though, if they don’t make a deep playoff run but Brady throws less than 30 interceptions, this team will be dramatically improved.

The biggest test for this team and their new quarterback is that Brady is accustomed to running away with the division by midseason. The NFC South is usually a tight division from beginning to end. It also features two matchups head-to-head against Drew Brees as well as two against the quarterback who was on the losing end of Brady’s greatest comeback after being down 28-3 in the Super Bowl, Matt Ryan.

This team may be the most interesting team to watch this season.
