An In-Depth Look at the 2020 Minnesota Vikings – Power Ranking 17

Minnesota comes in as the 17th ranked team in my power rankings, meaning we are halfway through these rankings. Minnesota comes in .014 ahead of Arizona at 18, and .405 ahead of Houston at 19. Teams 19-14 are separated by .945 points, so these are the closest batches of teams, and they can be ordered really anyway. Minnesota had an awkward offseason, stripping most of their secondary and their star receiver is now in Buffalo. The Vikings retooled their roster, making an astronomical 15 selections in April’s draft, taking a player at almost every spot other than running back and tight end, two of their best positions.

2020 NHL Draft-Player Profile: Dylan Holloway

Anyone who has played or followed hockey at any level is familiar with the term “power forward”. A power forward is someone who can skate, make plays at a high level, and “throw their weight around”. Power forwards also have the propensity to change the dynamic of any game with their physical play, strength, skill, and ability to drive play.

UFC on ESPN 12: Poirier vs Hooker | Preview, Predictions, Bets

Exciting card with a lot of showcase talent to wrap up our UFC Apex series before the UFC begins the trip to Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. There may not be a ton of names you recognize but this should be a banger of a fight card. I’m just still so happy I have a sport to watch and wrapping up this UFC Apex series hopefully means we will be a little closer to normalcy.

Team Award Predictions: San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers were on the cusp of greatness, after one of the most surprising seasons ever. The 49ers went 13-3 and made the Super Bowl where they faced the Kansas City Chiefs. They had a lead all the way until the fourth quarter, where the Chiefs led one last championship push and won the game. But all was not lost for the 49ers, for the first time since the Jim Harbaugh era, the Niners have a concrete identity. Their identity is to run the ball, play great defense, and keep the ball for the majority of the game. If they want to have success this year, they have to play bully ball like last year. Moving onto this year, it’s time to predict the team’s awards.

2019-2020 NHL Team Recap: Ottawa Senators

Expectations for the 2019-2020 Ottawa Senators were as low as any other team in the league. For obvious reasons. The club made a plethora of deals to shed off hefty contracts. Included in the many moves was their best player, defenseman Erik Karlsson, overall polished winger Mark Stone, dynamic center Matt Duchene, and sniper Mike Hoffman. This team was literally gutted of all their stars. What was left was a core of mostly young, mostly inexperienced players. The season wasn’t a complete disaster, but they did finish as the second-worst team record-wise. The Senators have a huge hill to climb to getting back to being a competitor in the Atlantic Division. The road back will commence next season. Let’s review the 2019-2020 season and take a look at what’s in store for the future.
