NFL experts from the Prime Time Sports Talk staff came together to share their picks for Super Bowl LV between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mike Fanelli: Chiefs 28, Buccaneers 27

It’s a battle between the GOAT and the kid. It’s also the first matchup between the two previous Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks. Tom Brady is playing in his 10th Super Bowl, and if he wins, he will have more Super Bowl titles than any NFL franchise. However, betting against Patrick Mahomes is a foolish move. This game will be close throughout and will go down to the final possession, but the Chiefs win their second straight championship.

Joe Heller: Buccaneers 34, Chiefs 27

Tampa Bay and Tom Brady will make even more history on Sunday night, becoming the first team to win a Super Bowl in their own stadium. The game will be a back-and-forth affair through three quarters before Brady and co. pull ahead late in the game. Antonio Brown will be the hero for the offense just one year after being banished from the league.

We’re in for a treat on Sunday night as the Bucs and Chiefs go head-to-head. Betting against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs is a dangerous game, but you can’t overlook this Tampa Bay Buccaneers team. Brady has more playoff success than anyone else in NFL history while the Tampa Bay defense continues to look more and more ferocious with every game. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are the road team and had a hiccup this week when their team barber’s positive COVID-19 test required DeMarcus Robinson and Daniel Kilgore to enter quarantine. They’ve since returned, but every little piece of drama has an impact in the Super Bowl. No matter what happens, this should be a truly thrilling back-and-forth affair.

Daniel Corrigan: Chiefs 38, Buccaneers 23

While it’s almost foolish at this point to bet against Tom Brady, the Chiefs have way too much firepower for the Buccaneers to keep up. Look for Travis Kelce to have a big day against a banged-up Tampa Bay defense.

Yehuda Schwartz: Chiefs 43, Buccaneers 37

As Tom Brady said, “You can’t teach us old dogs some of those new tricks.”

The Bucs are led by one of the best to ever do it but the Chiefs are manning one of the best rosters we’ve ever seen. The “old dog” in Brady may have the experience but the “young guns” in the entirety of the Chiefs’ roster hold the new tricks. Outside of Brady and Rob Gronkowski, many members of the Bucs have never have experienced the playoffs. The Chiefs, of course, can say otherwise.

Jack Gaffney: Buccaneers over Chiefs
Missing two starting tackles will be a huge problem for the Chiefs and they won’t be able to ignore it for the entire game.

Season Point Totals

Mike: 360
Joe: 325
Andersen: 338

Records

Mike: 180-85
Joe: 161-104
