Team Needs

Offensive Tackle: With Tom Brady coming to Tampa, The Bucs are going to need a good strong offensive line. If Tom wants to be able to make big plays down field to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin he will need time in the pocket. Damar Dotson is getting older and he will need help on that offensive line. Drafting a guy like Tristian Wirfs or Jedrick Wills will help Tampa protect Tom Brady and allow him to make plays. Also having strong tackles opens up holes for the run game. If the Bucs can add to that line they will be dangerous.

Secondary: Tampa can also use some improvements in the secondary. Tampa has young corners like Sean Murphy-Bunting and Jamel Dean that could use some extra firepower at those positions. If the Bucs could get a guy like Trevon Diggs or Grant Delpit who can play the deep safety position, they should be recharged in that secondary. The defense will be big for the Bucs in 2020. If they can have a good solid secondary, it will be tough for other teams to put points on the board.

Running Back: The Bucs can also use another running back to alternate with Ronald Jones. They can get a second running back that can make plays in the backfield and catch passes as well. J.K. Dobbins would be a good fit for Tampa because he can block in the backfield and establish the play action. He can also catch passes, and get through small holes when running the ball. If the Buccaneers could have Jones and a guy like Dobbins in the backfield, that would be a talented combo.
