It’s no secret how bad the Colts offensive line was in 2017 – they allowed 56 sacks and forced their quarterbacks to constantly run for their lives every play. When NBA fans hear ‘Derrick Rose’ the first thing many think of is the horrendous list of injuries he’s endured throughout his career. The youngest MVP in NBA history began his ordeal with injuries right after his MVP season in 2011 with the Chicago Bulls. Every season since, Rose faced injury after injury, many of which were serious and believed to be career-ending. Now, with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rose has blossomed into a player fans thought they’d never see again. During Rose’s return to Chicago on December 26, he was showered with MVP chants from his hometown fans. Who would have ever thought D-Rose would have such a comeback? How did he do it?
The 2019 NFL season is still several months away but it’s never too early to get ready the fantasy season. With free agency, trades and the NFL draft still to come, many of these players’ fantasy value will change for the upcoming season. In a four part series, I take a shot in the dark and rank the top quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends for 2019 redraft leagues. Check out the previous part here.
After such a monster slate we usually get a pretty dumbed down schedule and that’s just what is in store for us tonight. Three games to choose from, in order of games I like, Colorado at Calgary, Nashville at Chicago, and Ottawa at Anaheim.
I mean……….. seriously.
This Off-Season had so much promise. Two of the best in the game in Manny Machado and Bryce Harper, at the ripe age of 26 were set to hit the free agency market for the first time. There was (and still is….sorta) talks of two-time Cy Young winner Corey Kluber being traded. There was even a report that Kris Bryant could have been traded.
Here’s my four takeaways from the Miami Heat’s 103-99 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
