Throughout the NFL season, fans hear about an endless string of sprains and strains. The latest in this cycle is the shoulder sprain sustained by Chris Ivory – RB for Buffalo Bills late in the Week 9 Bills-Bears game. Often these terms are used interchangeably by sports writers and fans, but they are actually 2 totally different yet similar injuries.
At the halfway point in the NFL season, the Redskins have shocked everybody by sitting at the top of the NFC East division with a 5-3 record. However, the NFC East is nothing to brag about, to say the least. Watching this division race unfold is like seeing a brand new Lamborghini sitting outside just waiting to be driven by somebody. However, the Lamborghini is locked so you can’t open it and you just walk away leaving the beautiful car to collect dust. What these teams do not know is that the keys to this prize are in their own pockets as we speak, it is theirs for the taking.
Week 10 offers some relief from a Week 9 “bye-pocalyspe.” This past week we were forced to throw out names like Derek Carr and Joe Flacco as streaming options and that didn’t go as well as someone people had needed. Week 9 was a week where good streamers were needed desperately, but in reality there just weren’t many great options. Here’s to a better Week 10.
