The 2020 XFL season has arrived and the hype is real. Adding to the hype is the release of the new XFL app, which has lots of user-friendly features that will enhance the game-day experience. Some of these key features include tickets inside of the app, instructions for parking, pregame activities, directions to the game and much more.
A Robust Mobile Experience
The XFL app touts itself as a “robust mobile experience.” One of the major highlights of the app is that stats will be updated during the game so fans can keep track of what’s happening with their favorite players. This will be very important for those users who are involved in fantasy football with the XFL, given the recent announcement of the XFL’s partnership with DraftKings. There are also news articles, game-day previews, and even a link to the XFL shop for purchases. Another interesting feature on the new XFL app is the fact that users have the ability to change the icon that will be displayed on their home screens. Fans can select either the XFL logo or any one of the logos from each of the eight XFL teams. Users can also customize the interior of the app to feature their favorite team so that they can get instant access to the most current news about their favorite team just by opening the app.

Useful Information
One of the most useful features inside of the XFL app is the bag policy for each stadium. Fans can now be easily informed on what they are and are not permitted to bring inside the stadium on game days. There is also a handy link to each team’s social media connections including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok. The “Getting to the Game” section of the app gives users nearly every possible way imaginable to get to the game, including information on the best parking to be found around the stadium.
The Football Advisory Network
On the home page of the app, the XFL offers a link to the Football Advisory Network, where fan feedback is welcomed. Fans of the league can offer feedback on anything from game-day experiences to the types of souvenirs they want to purchase. The XFL is encouraging fans to help the league “shape our game together.” Members of the F.A.N. community will also be granted access to exclusive content, giveaways, events and more.
Other Features
The app also includes the new rules for the league. Each of the “Five Gameplay Innovations” are easily accessed and explained. There is also a contact tab to freely communicate with the league. The XFL’s goal is to be a very fan-friendly league, and this app is evidence of that.
