Weekly Gambling Picks: Week Seven

Daniel Corrigan | November 25th, 2019

We are just going to ignore last week’s picks. I won’t say my record from last week, but I am 18-12-2 overall. Still not bad. Let’s get rich!

Life Is Too Short To Bet The Under, Over Of The Week: 49ers @ Ravens (O/U 46)

The Ravens and 49ers have been the two most impressive teams in the NFL this season. Lamar Jackson is running away with the MVP in my opinion and the 49ers have just taken a complete 180 since last season. The defense has been unbelievable under rookie phenom, Nick Bosa. And with the return of Jimmy Garoppolo, they have been moving the ball. This is my Super Bowl pick as of today. Expect a ton of points and a lot of fun.

My Under(???) Of The Week: (CFB) Kent State @ Eastern Michigan (O/U 66)

The MAC is the most delightfully horrible thing that has ever existed. Both of these teams are awful with everything they do. They are both giving up just under 500 total yards per game, and are averaging under 30 points per game. This game will be so wonderfully terrible, that I cant wait.

My Lock Of The Week:  Alabama @ Auburn (+4)

No Tua Tagovailoa? No…… prob, just kidding, there is a problem. This is more of a hopefully pick because I am personally sick of seeing Alabama win year after year. I think without Tagovailoa, Alabama will struggle against a good team. They are already the worst Alabama team in the past decade. Their front seven has not had a good season at all. The biggest bright spot id the wide receivers. But for Auburn. Bo Nix could put a cherry on top of a good freshman year if he can beat Alabama at home, to end their playoff dreams.

My Underdog Of The Week: (CFB) Cincinnati Bearcats (+11.5) @ Memphis Tigers

If you have not noticed, I mainly bet college football. Mainly because its the best sports season, and the one that I know the best. But this is going to be a sneaky awesome game to watch. Both teams are very good. Cincinnati clinched the AAC East title. Their only loss came against Ohio State. They have run the table outside of that game. They are a sneaky good team. Don’t get me wrong, Memphis is awesome. Their offense is among the best in the nation. But I think the reason that the line is so big is because of the national TV exposure that Memphis has gotten. This is going to be a great game and I think Cincinnati will win outright.
