I’m waaaaayyyyy down on the past two World Series games, but don’t let that distract you that I went 27-14-1 last week. I’m back with more picks. More overs, locks, underdogs, and everything in between. Let’s get rich.
Life’s Too Short To Bet The Under, Over Of The Week: Redskins at Bills (36.5)
Whenever I see a number under 40, I get curious. Alarms go off in my head, I’m zoned in on this number. The Bills are ranked 19th in the NFL in total offense and the Redskins are ranked 30th. The biggest question in this game is if Dwayne Haskins will be the starter, or will the Redksins continue not to know what to do. But as the title says, “Life’s too short to bet the under.” Any number under 40, I’m immediately attracted to.
My Lock Of The Week: World Series Game Six: Nationals (+1.5) at Astros
I’m not entirely convinced that the Nationals are going to win outright, I just think that with Stephen Strasburg and Justin Verlander on the mound, it’s going to be a low-scoring dogfight. The Astros have all the advantage, winning three straight and now have the last two games in Houston. But I really want a game seven, I need to see Max Scherzer in a World Series game seven.
Underdog Of The Week: Bulls at Knicks (+1)
I think that the Knicks are really building something here. RJ Barrett really is a great talent. Averaging 21.0 PPG with 5.0 RPG and 2.7 APG on 51% shooting. The Knicks are young and athletic. This is the recipe for making a little noise at the bottom of the playoff standings.
Futures Bet: Ohio State 2020 CFB National Champions (+425)
In my personal rankings, Ohio State is ranked second, behind LSU. The only reason they are not number one is the quality wins of LSU. But, this is the best Ohio State team in a long time, they might even be better than the 2015 team. Georgia has to be kicking themselves for letting Justin Fields walk away. It has been unbelievable to start his career in Columbus. The Biggest storyline is J.K. Dobbins. Finally being the “lone guy” with Mike Weber gone, he has exploded into one of the best, if not THE best back in football. Joel Klatt says it best, Ohio State is great at everything, offense, defense, special teams, and coaching. They are the best team in football, they just have to avoid the annual unranked upset.
