The Los Angeles Rams will fly cross-country from sunny Los Angeles to sunny Miami to take on the suddenly competitive Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are coming off a bye week and previously won 24-0 against the Jets, eventually featuring the highly-anticipated debut of Tua Tagovailoa. The Rams are coming off a solid effort, beating the Chicago Bears 24-10. Miami will look to get the offense accustomed to their rookie quarterback, while Jared Goff of the Rams will look to bolster the connection with his offense.
Los Angeles Rams
With a 5-2 record, the Rams will roll into Miami on a high and will look to keep up in a stacked NFC West. Goff will need to spread the ball out more and get Cooper Kupp going. Cam Akers will look to get involved in the offense and the defense will look to maintain their great play. The Rams are healthy, aside from tight ends Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee who were both listed as questionable on Thursday. In 223 attempts, Goff has 1,790 yards in 2020. If he can continue his pace, the Rams can continue their forward progression.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins come in second in the AFC East with a 3-3 record and a (surprising) recent quarterback change. Through 197 attempts, Ryan Fitzpatrick compiled 1,535 yards. Miami will now hand the reins to Tagovailoa, who has an array of weapons at his disposal. Devante Parker, Preston Williams, and Mike Gesicki have all been playing above average, and Tua can also hand the ball off to Myles Gaskin and Matt Breida. On defense, Xavien Howard was rumored in trade discussions, but that was shut down by head coach Brian Flores. Kyle Van Noy, Parker, and Adam Shaheen are all listed as questionable.

Point Spread: LAR -3.5 (-110) | MIA +3.5 (-110)
Moneyline: LAR -185 | MIA +165
Over/Under: O 46 (-110) | U 46 (-110)
The spread is fairly close as the Dolphins are a much improved club and their defense has the assets capable of stops against the power offense of Los Angeles. The Rams can say the same for the Miami offense, but this still looks like a high-scoring affair.
Prediction
Los Angeles and Miami are eerily similar and will make for a great matchup of the sunny cities. The Dolphins will look to start the Tagovailoa era with a bang while the Rams will try to silence the Miami hype. In the end, Tua gets his first victory.
Final Score: Los Angeles Rams 27 Miami Dolphins 31
