It appears that the New England Patriots will be officially down a few key names for their showdown with the rival New York Jets.
Reporters on the field including ESPN’s Mike Reiss did not see wide receiver Josh Gordon or tight ends Matt LaCosse and Ryan Izzo meaning all three will likely be inactive for the game.
With no WR Josh Gordon (knee/ankle), TE Matt LaCosse (knee) and TE Ryan Izzo (concussion) at practice Saturday, the expectation is that they won’t play Monday night vs. the Jets. pic.twitter.com/urlXNH2xeB

Gordon suffered knee and ankle injuries against the New York Giants while Izzo and LaCosse are dealing with concussion and knee injuries.
The depth at both positions is becoming increasingly thin. Most notably at tight end with the two likely suiting up having not played in the regular season for the team.
The most experienced receiver outside of Julian Edelman is Phillip Dorsett whom were both limited in practices this week. Besides them, the team has undrafted rookies Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski waiting in the wings.
Rex Burkhead’s status with a foot injury by many estimates would be a 50/50 chance he plays as the team needs him more than ever with limited stock at receiver.
Safety Patrick Chung (heel/chest) will likely play.
The Patriots take on the Jets Monday Night at 8:15 p.m.
