Week 2 was a tale of two different tapes for the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots, the Raiders had the upset of the week, defeating the New Orleans Saints at home. The Patriots, on the other hand, were defeated in Seattle by the Seahawks, after being cruelly denied on the goalline by the Seahawk defense. Both teams would benefit massively from this win, the Patriots need to keep pace in the AFC East with the 2-0 Buffalo Bills, and the Raiders need to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs who are 2-0.
Las Vegas Raiders
For the Raiders to win this game, they will need to continue to run the ball efficiently with Josh Jacobs, who has 181 yards so far this season. quarterback Derek Carr has also surprised many so far this season, gathering 523 passing yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He has exceeded all prior expectations thus far. The main thing the Raiders need to do to win this game is they’ll need to apply pressure to Cam Newton. So far the Raiders have only recorded one sack this season, so they will need to get to Newton to have a ghost of a chance.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are coming off of a valiant effort against the Seahawks, where Newton recorded 446 of the Patriots 466 yards of total offense. To win this game, the Patriots will need to involve their running backs more in terms of rushing and try to force the run more, instead of settling for the pass. They’ve gotta be more aggressive on third down and not dink and dunk and really try for electric, down the field plays. On defense, the Patriots will need to get to Carr, which has only happened three times this year so far. The Patriots will need to cover tight end Darren Waller and focus on him, as he is off to a hot start with 150 receiving yards, and 18 receptions.

Over/Under: O 47 (-110) | U 47 (-110)
The over in this game is the play without a doubt. The Raiders defense is averaging 27 points against this year, and the Patriots should be able to easily meet that. The over would be the smartest way to go.
Prediction
This game will most likely be a shootout, and as usual with shootouts, whoever makes the first mistake will lose, and that mistake will be with the Raiders. After being down at the half, the Patriots lead three straight scoring drives and win the game.
Final Score: Raiders 31, Patriots 37
