Week 15 features a key NFC matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1) and the Arizona Cardinals (7-6). With only three weeks remaining in the regular season, this is a must-win game for both teams. Eagles’ rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts gets his second career start against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals.
Arizona leads the all-time series 57-55-5, however, the Eagles won 34-7 the last time the two franchises met.
Philadelphia Eagles
Last week the Eagles had an upset win over the New Orleans Saints. In his first career start, Hurts threw for 167 yards and a touchdown while adding 106 yards on the ground. Running back Miles Sanders had a season-high 136 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns.
After a hard-fought win, the Eagles are banged up heading into Sunday. Defensive tackle Malik Jackson is questionable to play after being in the concussion protocol all week. On the same side of the ball, cornerbacks Avonte Maddox (knee) and Darius Slay (concussion) have been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
Arizona Cardinals
Arizona got a much needed 26-7 win last week against the New York Giants. Murray threw for 244 yards and a touchdown with another 47 yards rushing. Kenyan Drake (running back) had 90 scrimmage yards and a score, while DeAndre Hopkins (wide receiver) caught nine passes for 136 yards.
The Cardinals also enter the week with several key injuries. Safety Jalen Thompson (ankle) and defensive end Jordan Phillips (hamstring) have already been ruled out as well as kicker Zane Gonzalez (back).

Philadelphia’s offense looked much better with Hurts under center. Add in the top tier offense of the Cardinals, and this game should hit the over. Take the Eagles against the spread as well.
Prediction
After a disappointing stretch of games for Arizona, Murray and the Cardinals will jump out to an early lead. However, Hurts and the Eagles will fight back and make it a game, losing by one possession. An Eagles loss would effectively remove them from playoff contention, while a Cardinals win would keep them in a wildcard spot.
Final Score: Philadelphia Eagles 27, Arizona Cardinals 31
