We got a solid seven-game slate for tonight. The best matchup is the Houston Rockets against the Los Angeles Clippers. Paul George is also scheduled to come back and the Clippers will be at full strength. Below are my top value players for this slate.

Before I get into my top players, let me explain my process of picking a team. I typically play on Fanduel but occasionally will do DraftKings as well. When picking my team, I like to find the best value players of the night first. Then I will look to see what superstars I can squeeze into my lineup.

When looking for values I look for two different types. The first type is players that typically put up between 20-30 points but whether it be because of a matchup or injury can put up 40 plus. The second type is players that are super cheap but can still get you good enough points to make it worthy of paying up for high priced superstars.

Stud Value Players

Jaylen Brown (7,200 FD and 7,300 DK)

Brown has played excellent since Gordon Hayward went down with an injury. In his last two games (one game Hayward only played 14 minutes the other he didn’t play at all), Brown scored 30 points the first night and 25 the second. He gets a great matchup against the Washington Wizards and with his salary being so cheap for his ceiling he’s a great play.

Nikola Vucevic (9,400 FD and 8,300 DK)

Even though Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns are playing tonight I like saving some salary and going with Vucevic. He has the ability to put up a double-double any given night. If he is able to dish some assists look for him to have a huge night and be the top center of the night.

Cheap Value Players

Dillon Brooks (5,100 FD and 4,400 DK)

Brooks has been pretty inconsistent all year. He’s had less than eight points in five games this year. However, in the other five games, he has scored more than 16 points. If Brooks is able to get his shot going early he will have plenty of opportunities to get shots up resulting in great value at his salary.

Ben McLemore (3,500 FD and 3,100 DK)

Eric Gordon is out due to a knee injury and Danuel House is doubtful to play. McLemore is priced at the minimum on FanDuel and should get plenty of minutes and plenty of opportunities to score in what should be a very high scoring game against the Clippers.

Final Buzzer

These players will allow you to fit at least one more superstar of your choosing in your lineup. Good luck with your lineups and feel free to contact me on Twitter if you have any questions to help fill your lineup.
