There are only three weeks left of the regular season. Teams are jockeying for playoff spots and higher playoff seeding. Then, some teams are vying for a top draft pick. Ahead of Week 15’s games, here’s a two-round mock draft featuring three trades.
1. New York Jets – Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
The Jets will likely lock up Lawrence and an 0-16 season unless New England decides they don’t want to face Trevor Lawrence for the next 20 years and lose on purpose.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars – Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
This pick is almost as set in stone as the Lawrence to the Jets pick. Fields is almost everyone’s QB2 in the class and would give Jaguar fans something to be excited about.
3. Cincinnati Bengals – Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon
Protect Joe Burrow at all costs, even if it involves using the first three choices on the offensive line.
4. Dallas Cowboys – Patrick Surtain, CB, Alabama
Surtain and Trevon Diggs were a fantastic duo at the cornerback spot for the Crimson Tide in their collegiate careers. Dallas opts to take Surtain and continue with the reshaping of their secondary.
5. Los Angeles Chargers – Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
With the Bengals taking Sewell, the Chargers don’t see an offensive tackle worth taking with this spot. Instead, they get the next best thing for Justin Herbert by giving him yet another weapon by adding Chase. Adding Chase would be a welcomed addition and would form a trio of great receivers of Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Chase. The Chargers would be wise to bring back Hunter Henry as well for a full arsenal.

TRADE – Philadelphia sends picks 9 and 73 to the Panthers for pick 6.
6. Philadelphia Eagles (via Carolina) – Devonta Smith, WR, Alabama
The Eagles see Chase go off the board and jump at the opportunity to snag Smith. They trade up with Carolina and get their go-to receiver for years to come to pair with Jalen Reagor.
7. Atlanta Falcons – Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan
Atlanta is in a prime trade-down spot as of now. With a bad cap situation, Atlanta may opt to trade down into the middle or late first-round and get their edge rusher there. In this scenario, no teams are jumping at the opportunity to get a quarterback, so the Falcons opt to select Paye.
8. Miami Dolphins (via Houston) – Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
With the Chargers and Eagles going receiver, Parsons falls right into Miami’s lap. He is the perfect fit in Brian Flores‘ defensive scheme and would play in a variety of different roles. The Dolphins continue to add to their improving defense with the best defensive player in the class.
9. Carolina Panthers (via Philadelphia) – Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
Carolina trades down three spots and still gets the player they would’ve selected at their original spot. Wilson has caught fire this season and has gone from a late-round pick to a potential top-ten pick. While quarterback isn’t the biggest need on the roster, Teddy Bridgewater most likely won’t lead the Panthers to the promised land, and it’s time to groom a new youngster.

10. New York Giants – Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami
Like Miami, the Giants have had a surprising defensive unit this year. Joe Judge and company continue to add to that side of the ball by adding Rousseau.
11. Detroit Lions – Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
The Lions could go a lot of different directions with this pick. With Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones on their contract years, they go with Waddle. He can step in as the number one receiver if Golladay isn’t retained, or form a dynamic duo with him.
12. San Francisco 49ers – Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
Farley is one of the best cornerbacks in the class and still has room to grow. He is relatively new to the position but is an elite athlete, and the 49ers desperately need help in the secondary with their current contract situations.
13. Denver Broncos – Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
While the Broncos could go quarterback with this pick, it would be wise to see how Drew Lock plays with a full arsenal that isn’t hurt. That would involve Courtland Sutton coming back from injury and playing with KJ Hamler, Jerry Jeudy, and a healthier Noah Fant. The second option Denver could go is at cornerback, where they need to get younger at. Horn will likely line up opposite of Michael Ojemudia for the next few years.
14. Minnesota Vikings – Alijah Vera-Tucker, OL, USC
Minnesota desperately needs offensive line help. While Wyatt Davis is usually the pick here, Vera-Tucker has been a name on the rise for the last few months for his ability to play multiple spots on the offensive line. The Vikings would be wise to make this selection and roll out the best five.
15. New England Patriots – Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
New England selected Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene in last year’s draft, neither can compare to Pitts. He has shown he is Florida’s offense, and without him in the lineup, the Gators stumble. He would be a great weapon for whoever lines up at quarterback for New England next year.
16. Chicago Bears – Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
With New England opting to select Pitts and Washington looking to win the NFC East, Chicago finally has a chance at one of the top four quarterbacks in the class. Lance is a bit raw in some regards, but the Bears desperately need help at the position and can’t rely on either of Mitchell Trubisky or Nick Foles.
17. Las Vegas Raiders – Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden have been known to take their type of players and not care what anyone else thinks. While some may think that this is too high for Ojulari, it may not be. He has had an outstanding year and would add to a pass-rush unit that needs reinforcements.

18. Baltimore Ravens – Wyatt Davis, IOL, Ohio State
Baltimore’s offense hasn’t been the same, and there are a few reasons. The biggest one is the lack of push from the interior of the offensive line. Davis has been linked as the best interior lineman since Quenton Nelson and would provide Baltimore with even more power in the running game.
19. Washington Football Team – Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
With all the quarterbacks gone, Washington goes in a different direction. While offensive tackle has been a pick here as of late, Cornelius Lucas has done very well in that role as of late. Instead, why not give whoever is starting at the quarterback spot another weapon. Bateman is one of the better receivers in this class that has been out shadowed by the top three. He would form an excellent duo with Terry McLaurin.

20. Arizona Cardinals – Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia
The Cardinals need to find their replacement for Patrick Peterson eventually. They already have one budding cornerback in Byron Murphy, and adding Stokes would give Arizona a duo for at least the next four years.
TRADE – Pittsburgh sends picks 30 and 93 to the Dolphins for pick 21.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers (via Miami) – Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
Pittsburgh sees that the run on tackles hasn’t started as only Sewell has gone. Instead of waiting, they jump up and snag Cosmi. Alejandro Villanueva has done great as the team’s left tackle for a long time, but it’s time Pittsburgh looks to the future.
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jay Tufele, DL, USC
Tufele to Tampa Bay is one of the most constant selections in this draft cycle. Tufele and Vita Vea would be an excellent tandem in the middle of the defensive line for the Buccaneers.
23. Indianapolis Colts – Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
With Anthony Castonzo not getting any younger, Chris Ballard would be wise to look to the future and pick up a future franchise left tackle that would team up with Braden Smith and continue the great offensive line that the Colts already have.
24. Cleveland Browns – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
Cleveland’s run defense was awful against Baltimore and has been all season. While the team has used mid-round selections on Sione Takitaki and Mack Wilson before, they aren’t as good as Owusu-Koramoah. He is similar to Isaiah Simmons from last season in the fact he can play in a variety of roles, which would be a welcomed addition to Cleveland’s defense.

25. New York Jets (via Seattle) – Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
The Jets pair Lawrence with Etienne for the long run. The two continue as teammates into the pros and look to take the Jets out of mediocrity.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars (via LA Rams) – Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern
Slater opted out before the season and has risen since the tape was shown where he kept Chase Young in check. Jacksonville gets their franchise quarterback and left tackle in the first round,
27. Tennessee Titans – Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
Tennessee’s defense has taken a step back this year, and the lack of a pass-rush has been one of the main reasons. Ossai’s versatility will be a big factor in him getting taken this high, as he can play with his hand in the dirt or as a stand-up linebacker.
28. Buffalo Bills – Derion Kendrick, CB, Clemson
Buffalo has needed a cornerback opposite of Tre’Davious White for at least the last two years, and they still haven’t found the right guy to fit in that spot. Kendrick is a converted receiver, similar to Noah Igbinoghene last year, and could slide into the back-end of the first round thanks to his upside.
TRADE – The Los Angeles Chargers send picks 37 and 97 to the Packers for picks 29 and 214
29. Los Angeles Chargers (via Green Bay) – Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
The Packers see that there are linebackers and receivers aplenty and opt to wait to select until Friday and add another day two selection to make it four. Meanwhile, the Chargers find a new protector for Herbert to go along with Chase.
30. Miami Dolphins (via Pittsburgh) – Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue
From what we’ve seen in the Chris Grier/Flores tenure so far, they love to take their athletes. That started earlier with Parsons and continues with the dynamic playmaker that Moore is. His injury history is the only reason he has slid this far.
31. New Orleans Saints – Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State
Like Buffalo, New Orleans has struggled to find a running mate alongside Marshon Lattimore. While Wade hasn’t had the best year thus far as he has made the move to the outside from the slot, the Saints should be able to get the most out of him at either spot.
32. Kansas City Chiefs – Trey Smith, IOL, Tennessee
With Vera-Tucker and Davis off the board, the Chiefs go with the next best interior lineman to help out their 500 million dollar man.
33. New York Jets – Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan
Mayfield, like many other players in this class, has had a steady rise. He will take over for George Fant and be on the edge with Mekhi Becton for years to come.
34. Jacksonville Jaguars – Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State
The Jaguars continue to reshape their offense with the selections of Fields, Slater, and now Friermuth. With DJ Chark, Laviska Shenault, and Freiermuth, Fields will have plenty of weapons at his disposal.
35. Cincinnati Bengals – Creed Humphrey, IOL, Oklahoma
Protect Burrow at all costs.
36. Dallas Cowboys – Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama
Tyron Smith isn’t getting any younger, and the cap situation isn’t getting any better.
37. Green Bay Packers (via LA Chargers) – Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa
The Packers trade down and still get the player they would’ve got at 29. Collins may be from a small school, but he is similar to Owusu-Koramoah in the ways he can play in a variety of roles. Green Bay has solid rotational players with Krys Barnes and Kamal Martin, but they need a player that can do everything in the middle of the defense.
38. Carolina Panthers – Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama
The Panthers lost their biggest leader when Luke Kuechly retired. They find the replacement for Kuechly on the field by selecting Moses. While his stock has taken a bit of a tumble this year, Moses is still a great player.

39. Atlanta Falcons – Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
Atlanta could very well be taking the best player available at each of their picks as they think about a full rebuild. Harris would be a great addition and would become the lead-back for years to come for the Falcons.
40. Miami Dolphins (via Houston) – Hamilcar Rashed Jr, EDGE, Oregon State
Miami has gotten great production from the additions of Emmanuel Ogbah, Shaq Lawson, and Kyle Van Noy. You can never have too many pass-rushers, and with Ogbah on a contract year next year, Rashed could take his place as the star player off the edge.
41. Philadelphia Eagles – Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri
The Eagles have had a significant hole at their linebacker spot for years. They fill that need here with the selection of Bolton and can have T.J. Edwards and Alex Singleton play in their roles instead of forcing them to take a ton of starting snaps.
42. New York Giants – Terrace Marshall Jr. WR, LSU
The Giants have three solid options with Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard, and Darius Slayton. They can find room to get better as Tate isn’t getting younger, and New York needs to see if Daniel Jones is the guy.
43. Detroit Lions – Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
The Lions have needs all over the defense. With a new general manager and head coach on the way, they will need to take the best player available on defense. Barmore fits that role by also filling a need on the interior defensive line.
44. San Francisco 49ers – Landon Dickerson, IOL, Alabama
Dickerson has been on a significant climb over the last few weeks. He is versatile and can play any position on the offensive line, and the 49ers would be wise to add him to an offensive line that has had a significant drop-off from their Super Bowl run last year.
45. Denver Broncos – Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State
With Von Miller and Bradley Chubb still in Denver, Oweh can sit and learn for a year or two. He is very raw but has a very high ceiling that he can reach with his dynamic athletic ability.
46. Jacksonville Jaguars – Asante Samuel Jr. CB, Florida State
Samuel and Henderson would give Jacksonville an elite duo on the boundary for the Jaguars.
47. New England Patriots – Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
Bill Belichick finally decides to upgrade the weaponry around his quarterback with his first two selections. After selecting Pitts in round one, he decides to double down and select another dynamic weapon by selecting Olave in round two.
48. Chicago Bears – Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State
Chicago pairs Lance up with his tackle from North Dakota State. Radunz has been in the first round conversation throughout the year but has fallen to the second round as new names have popped up.
49. Las Vegas Raiders – Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
The Raiders were picked apart on the back-end by Herbert on Thursday night. Their safety play left much to be desired and Moehrig would be a perfect addition. He is the first safety off the board, and for good reason.
50. Baltimore Ravens – Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, Miami
Baltimore’s pass-rush unit has been depleted over the last two years. Za’Darius Smith has moved on and is playing great for the Packers. Phillips can be added in and take over the defense and learn for Calais Campbell during his rookie season.
51. Washington Football Team – Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State
While Lucas has done solid at left tackle, it is always important to add depth to the offensive line. Jenkins has gotten a lot of steam recently as Daniel Jeremiah listed him in the top-five of his offensive line rankings in November.
52. Arizona Cardinals – Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan
Cornerback and edge rusher are the two biggest needs for the Cardinals, and both have been filled in the first two rounds.
53. Miami Dolphins – Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina
Williams draft stock has been soaring over the last few weeks and reached its boiling point this last week against Miami. Ironically, he lands in Miami in this mock, as well as many others. Williams will be the back the Dolphins thought they were getting in Jordan Howard and will be a fantasy darling next season.
54. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Kyle Trask, QB, Florida
Tom Brady isn’t getting any younger. While Josh Rosen is on the practice squad, no team seems to be giving him a fair shot, and that leads to Tampa Bay selecting Trask to groom under Brady.
55. Indianapolis Colts – Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
The second of the Georgia cornerbacks go here to Indianapolis. Campbell has been overtaken by Stokes as the favorite corner from the Bulldogs but will be a great addition to the room that is already underrated.
56. Cleveland Browns – Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
Cleveland continues to revamp their secondary with the addition of Adebo. With Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams, and now Adebo, the Browns have their starting three cornerbacks for the next decade.
57. Seattle Seahawks – Josh Myers, IOL, Ohio State
Seattle has ignored the offensive line for far too long. It’s time to get Russell Wilson some protection.
58. Los Angeles Rams – Jackson Carman, OT, Clemson
Like Seattle, the Rams have needed offensive line help for some time, and with Andrew Whitworth another year closer to retirement, it’s time to think about selecting his replacement here.
59. Tennessee Titans – Jaylen Twyman, IDL, Pittsburgh
Tennessee continues to add to the front of their defense with their first two selections. After taking Ossai in the first round, they team-up Jeffery Simmons with Twyman.
60. Buffalo Bills – Jabril Cox, LB, LSU
Buffalo’s defense has taken a step back this year due to Lorenzo Alexander‘s retirement following last year. Cox would form a dynamic duo in the middle of the defense with Tremaine Edmunds.
61. Green Bay Packers – Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC
St. Brown’s stock has soared over recent weeks. He may not be here at this spot in April, but the Packers snag him up here to pair him up with Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and his brother, Equanimeous St. Brown.

62. Pittsburgh Steelers – Mac Jones, QB, Alabama
Opinions vary on Jones in the scouting community, but the Steelers fall in love with him to take him at this spot.
63. New Orleans Saints – Cameron McGrone, LB, Michigan
The run on linebackers continues as the Saints select McGrone to shore up their weak spot on the defense.
64. Kansas City Chiefs – Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida
The Chiefs elect to add even more speed to their offense by selecting Toney. Defensive coordinators will have nightmares trying to figure out how to stop the Chiefs yet again next year.
