The Toronto Blue Jays finally have a home. The team announced on Friday that they will play their home games in Buffalo, New York.

The Blue Jays’ home games will be played at Sahlen Field, home of their Triple-A affiliate Buffalo Bisons. Their first home series against the Washington Nationals will be held in Washington so that infrastructure modifications can be made at Sahlen Field, according to ESPN. The Blue Jays will play their first game in Buffalo on either July 31 or Aug. 11.

“We are extremely grateful to have a home in Buffalo this season, thanks to the openness, creativity, and partnership of the Buffalo Bisons, Major League Baseball, and Blue Jays staff, who have worked tirelessly to prepare us for games at Sahlen Field,” Blue Jays president and CEO Mark Shapiro said in a statement.

“This process has no doubt tested our team’s resilience, but our players and staff refuse to make excuses–we are determined to take the field on Opening Day today, and for the coming months, with the same intensity and competitiveness that our fans expect.”

The Blue Jays had been looking for a home for this season after the Canadian government denied their request to play at Rogers Centre. They had a deal to play at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, but those plans were shut down.
