Top Fantasy Streamers for Week 7

Top Fantasy Streamers for Week 7 Teddy Bridgewater

Week 6 is officially in the books! Were your teams able to stave off the injury bug? Whether you need an injury replacement or want an upgrade over your current starter, here is a list of streamers with favorable matchups in Week 7.

The following players are owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo Leagues.

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Carolina Panthers

Bridgewater is having an underrated 2020 season. Through the first six games this season, Bridgewater has thrown for 1,676 yards (fifth-most) and six touchdowns. He also proved his mobility last Sunday, rushing for 48 yards on eight attempts. He faces a New Orleans defense, giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Bridgewater will have to throw 30-plus times to keep up with Drew Brees and this high-powered Saints offense, which gives him a Top-15 floor this week.

Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers

Herbert is owned in just over 50 percent of Yahoo leagues, but he’s on the list this week. As mentioned last week, Herbert has been dominating since taking over as the starting quarterback in Los Angeles. Over the first four games of his career, Herbert’s thrown for 1,195 yards (298.8 yards per game) along with nine touchdowns. He faces a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to the quarterback position. If you stream him this week, think about holding on to him as he’s set to face the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets following Week 7. Herbert is on the QB1 radar for the next five weeks.

Andy Dalton, QB, Dallas Cowboys

Dalton underachieved in his first start in place of the injured Dak Prescott, throwing for 266 yards and one touchdown versus two interceptions. Don’t give up on him, yet. The Cowboys boast one of the most talented and explosive offenses in the league, which automatically gives Dalton weekly streaming appeal. This week, he faces a Washington defense giving up the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. With Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Ezekiel Elliott at his disposal, Dalton should have no problem producing Top-20 fantasy numbers this week in Washington.

Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Football Team

Thomas has quietly been a Top-20 fantasy producer at the tight end position this season. He ranks fifth in the league in targets (36) and 16th in the league in receptions (17). Thomas is coming off a superb Week 6 where he caught 3-of-4 targets for 42 yards and a touchdown. Thomas faces a Dallas Cowboys defense giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends, which gives him a healthy floor. If you are a Mark Andrews or Zach Ertz fantasy owner and looking for a replacement, look no further.

Anthony Firkser, TE, Tennessee Titans

Firkser replaced an injured Jonnu Smith last Sunday and EXPLODED for a career-high 113 yards and a touchdown. With Smith considered questionable for this Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Firkser makes for a fantastic pickup as both a handcuff and potential TE2 if Smith sits. If Smith plays, Firkser will not be a recommended fantasy option.

Darren Fells, TE, Houston Texans

Fells has had a stellar two weeks without fellow tight end Jordan Akins (ankle, concussion) in the lineup. Over the past two weeks, Fells has eight catches on nine targets for 142 yards and two touchdowns. If Akins remains sidelined against Green Bay, Fells has high-end TE2 streaming appeal in what should be a high-scoring affair. If Akins plays, Fells will not be a recommended fantasy option.

Philadelphia Eagles, DST

Philadelphia has had two brutal matchups in a row facing Pittsburgh and Baltimore, but they get a break in their schedule hosting the New York Giants this week on Thursday Night Football. New York has given up the third-most fantasy points to defenses this season, throwing six interceptions and allowing 17 sacks in six games. The Eagles are a top-5 play this week.

Dallas Cowboys, DST

The Cowboys travel to D.C. this week to take on a Washington team giving up a whopping 4.0 sacks per game (third-worst). Expect Dallas to keep this Kyle Allen-led offense to a low score while piling up multiple sacks. The Cowboys are a top-10 play this week.

Cleveland Browns, DST

The Browns lead the league in takeaways with 12. They face a Cincinnati Bengals team giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to defenses this season. Burrow has been decent this season, but his offensive line is giving up four sacks per game. Expect Myles Garrett and the Cleveland defense to rack up multiple sacks along with a turnover or two.

Mason Crosby, K, Green Bay Packers

Crosby has been one of the most consistent fantasy kickers this season, averaging 9.2 fantasy points per game. He’s 9/9 on field goals through five games with a 50-plus yard field goal under his belt. The Packers travel to Houston to face a Texans team giving up 30.3 points per game. With the O/U at 56, Crosby is a must-start fantasy option.

The Lions travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium this week to face the Atlanta Falcons. Expect Prater to see plenty of scoring opportunities going up against a Falcons team giving up 30.7 points per game.
