Week 2 is officially in the books! Was your team able to stave off the injury bug? Whether you need an injury replacement or want an upgrade over your current player, here is a list of streamers with favorable matchups in Week 3. The following players are owned in less than 50% of Yahoo Leagues. Let’s dive in!
Gardner Minshew, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Minshew is putting on a minSHOW this season. In his first two games, Minshew’s averaging 256 passing yards and three touchdowns while adding 19 yards on the ground. He has a good chance to keep it rolling this week at home against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins come into the matchup after allowing 417 passing yards to Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. If you take the plunge and stream him this week, hold on to him for another plum matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. Minshew is a Top-12 play this week.

Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans
Tannehill is coming off a Week 2 victory against the Jaguars, where he threw for 239 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Tannehill was the top streaming option last week, and he has another favorable matchup this week against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are allowing 289 passing yards per game on top of allowing 35.5 points, which ranks 31st worst in the NFL. Tannehill is a rock-solid play this week in Minnesota.
Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Chicago Bears
Trubisky ranks inside the Top-15 at his position, averaging 19.74 fantasy points so far this season. He’s thrown five touchdowns this season versus two interceptions on 432 total passing yards. Trubisky has a juicy matchup this week going up against an Atlanta Falcons team that’s given up 386 passing yards on average while allowing 39 points per game. With capable weapons surrounding him, Trubisky could be a sneaky Top-20 play this week. He’s available in 93% of Yahoo leagues.
Dalton Schultz, TE, Dallas Cowboys
Schultz is coming off an INSANE performance in Week 2 where he caught nine passes on 10 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown. He faces Seattle this week who is allowing a league-worst 415.5 passing yards per game. Both Dallas and Seattle have been in multiple shootouts to start the year, and I don’t see this game being any different. Schultz is a bonafide Top-10 option this week.

Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Football Team
Thomas is averaging 8.5 targets this season, which is second on the team to Terry McLaurin. Even though he’s only been able to reel in 48% of his targets, it’s clear that he has the trust of Dwayne Haskins. Thomas is a strong streaming option this week thanks to his prominent role in a pass-heavy offense that should play from behind this week in Cleveland.
Mo Alie-Cox, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Alie-Cox took FULL advantage of Jack Doyle‘s absence last Sunday and turned six targets into five receptions for 111 yards. We all know Philip Rivers loves throwing to the tight end position, so Alie-Cox should be in line for another five-plus targets this week against the New York Jets who just allowed seven catches and two scores to Jordan Reed.
Indianapolis Colts, DST
The Colts defense is holding its opponents to a league-best 208 yards per game this season. They welcome a Jets team who could only muster 13 points on 277 total yards against a banged-up San Francisco 49er defense. Fire up Indianapolis as an EASY Top-10 play this week.
Philadelphia Eagles, DST
Philadelphia’s defensive unit is holding its opponents to 344 yards per game, which puts them just inside the Top-10. This week, rookie quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Philadelphia, where I expect the Eagles to rack up multiple sacks along with a turnover or two.
Cleveland Browns, DST
The Browns host Washington this week, coming off a Week 2 victory against the Bengals. Cleveland is holding its opponents to 3.3 yards per rushing attempt, which is fifth in the NFL. With Washington only averaging 98.5 yards on the ground, look for Haskins to throw a lot this game making him prone to sacks and turnovers.

Michael Badgley, K, Los Angeles Chargers
Badgley ranks Top-10 in points scored at his position coming into Week 3. With the Chargers hosting a Carolina Panthers defense that’s allowed 32.5 points per game this season, expect Badgley to have plenty of scoring opportunities.
Jason Myers, K, Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks host a Cowboys team that recently gave up 39 points to the Atlanta Falcons. Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo scored 17 fantasy points against the Cowboys last week, and I expect Myers to have a similar scoring output. Myers is a Top-10 kicking option this week.
