Week 11 is officially in the books! Were your teams able to stave off the injury bug? Whether you need an injury replacement or want an upgrade over your current starter, here is a list of streamers with favorable matchups in Week 12.
The following players are owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo Leagues.
Derek Carr, QB, Las Vegas Raiders
Carr makes this list for the second week in a row. He’s currently the QB16 on the season above quarterbacks like Cam Newton, Jared Goff, and Matthew Stafford. Last week, Carr went 23-of-31 for 275 yards and three touchdowns versus one interception against the Kansas City Chiefs. He has another favorable matchup this week against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense is giving up 300.3 yards per game, which ranks second-worst in the NFL. Carr has produced QB1 numbers whenever he goes up against a pass-happy team. Fire him up as a top-12 option this week.
Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Carolina Panthers
Bridgewater was a top streaming option last week before being deactivated hours before kickoff. The extra week’s rest should put him on track to return on Sunday. The Minnesota Vikings’ defense is allowing opposing quarterbacks to average 248.9 yards and 1.9 touchdowns per game. Last week, Minnesota allowed Andy Dalton to throw 200-plus yards and three touchdowns. If Christian McCaffrey returns from injury, Bridgewater becomes a stronger play. Even if McCaffrey sits, Bridgewater still boasts a top-15 floor this week.
Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Cousins has been producing QB1 numbers over the past three games, averaging 275.3 passing yards and 2.7 touchdowns while throwing just one interception during that span. This week, he faces a Panthers defense giving up 254.8 passing yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game. Expect this game to be a high-scoring affair, giving Cousins a top-20 floor this week.
Jordan Reed, TE, San Francisco 49ers
After disappointing in his first game back from injury in Week 9, Reed came alive in Week 10. He turned six targets into five catches for 62 yards. With George Kittle out for at least five more weeks, Reed will be the de facto No. 1 tight end this week against the Los Angeles Rams. He’s a low-end TE1 option for as long as Kittle is out. Reed is available in 85 percent of Yahoo Leagues.
Robert Tonyan, TE, Green Bay Packers
Despite Tonyan’s inconsistent production this season, he ranks as the TE6 in half-point PPR leagues. Last week, he caught five passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Tonyan is a top-10 option this week, going up against a Chicago Bears defense that is giving up the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
Will Dissly, TE, Seattle Seahawks
With Greg Olsen out four-to-six weeks with a torn plantar fascia, Dissly becomes the Seahawks’ No. 1 tight end. Last week, Dissly saw 65 percent of the offensive snaps versus just 20 percent for fellow tight end Jacob Hollister. Before tearing his ACL in Week 6 of last season, Dissly was putting up TE1 numbers compiling 262 yards and four touchdowns through the team’s first five games. With the volatility at the tight end position this year, Dissly is worth a shot in deep leagues with the Philadelphia Eagles giving up the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
New York Giants, DST
The Giants have quietly been one of the most dominant defenses this season, averaging 6.7 fantasy points per game. They rank 11th in the league in sacks (25) and 13th in the league in interceptions (eight). This week, they face a Cincinnati Bengals offense that has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to defenses. With Joe Burrow out for the rest of the season, Ryan Finley will be the starting quarterback, making the Giants a top-five play this week.
Green Bay Packers, DST
The Packers haven’t been dominant this year by any stretch, but they’ve been decent over their past three games, averaging 5.3 fantasy points. With Nick Foles‘ status for this Sunday up in the air this week, journeyman Tyler Bray could be in line to start this week. Whether Foles, Mitchell Trubisky, or Bray starts, expect the Packers to put up elite fantasy numbers. With Chicago giving up the eighth-most fantasy points to defenses, fire up the Packers as another top-five play this week.
Washington Football Team, DST
Washington has been a top-12 fantasy unit this season, averaging 6.4 fantasy points per game. This week, they face a Dallas Cowboys offense who’s given up the third-most fantasy points to defenses. Washington’s defense dominated Dallas back in Week 7, holding them to three points while racking up six sacks and a turnover. Washington is a top-10 play this week.
Daniel Carlson, K, Las Vegas Raiders
Carlson is the No. 1 rated fantasy kicker through the first 11 weeks of the season. He has hit 21-of-23 field goals while averaging 10.2 fantasy points per game. Carlson should have plenty of opportunities to score this week, going up against an Atlanta Falcons team that is giving up 27.5 points per game.
Rodrigo Blankenship, K, Indianapolis Colts
Blankenship saw his ownership drop dramatically after posting two straight duds in Weeks 8 and 9. He’s officially back to being an elite fantasy producer after posting 25 fantasy points over the last two games. Philip Rivers has been moving the ball with ease over the past two weeks, which bodes well for Blankenship’s fantasy outlook. Despite the tough matchup against the Tennessee Titans this week, expect two-plus field goal attempts and multiple extra points from Blankenship.
