With the first round of the NFL draft complete, we look forward to the second round as its the only sporting event still going on in the world! Biggest surprises not drafted in the first round.
Josh Jones, LT, Houston
Jones was considered to be a top-five tackle by my key draft analysts as he had a high level of play during his last year. He improved his pass sets and hand usage, as well as run blocking every year. He’s a slam dunk for the Cincinnati Bengals to pick with their need at tackle.
Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama
I thought for sure, teams were going to value McKinney’s versatility and play recognition. As well he’s a great fit for lots of the teams. Regardless, someone is going to get a great player in McKinney.
