College football season is around the corner. To get ready for the season, I will preview the top players returning at key positions.
To begin, let’s explore the top 10 returning quarterbacks.

1. Carson Beck, Georgia
Beck is a talented quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs. He had an outstanding season in 2023, helping lead Georgia to a one-loss campaign. His stats will not wow you because of the way that Georgia plays, but he is a legit quarterback. Beck is an old-school signal-caller in that he prefers to throw the ball in the pocket. I expect him to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football this season.
2. Quinn Ewers, Texas
Ewers had a successful season last year for Texas, helping them win the Big 12 and make the CFB playoffs. His decision-making could improve, but going into his third year as a starter, I expect him to get even better. Ewers can make all the throws, and when the play breaks down, he is mobile enough to make things happen. I expect him to continue to grow next season as a quarterback.

3. Dillon Gabriel, Oregon
The sixth-year senior is coming back for one more season to improve his draft stock. He has now moved on to Oregon. Gabriel is a classic dual-threat quarterback who can beat you with his legs and his arm. Gabriel has a ton of experience, so that should help him with a talented team in Oregon.
4. Jalen Milroe, Alabama
Milroe can be up and down as a passer, but he is a dynamic runner at the quarterback position. He throws a great deep ball but needs to gain more consistency when passing. He is still one of the most talented quarterbacks in the country, and I expect him to make a jump as a passer in his second year starting.
5. Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
Deion Sanders‘s son played well last year behind a terrible offensive line. He showed that he can make all the throws and is a talented runner, too. Sanders has the tools to play at an even higher level this season, but he needs some help from the big boys up front.
Shedeur Sanders is working out with his receiving room on their off day. This team is going to do big things this season💯🦬

6. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
Dart made big strides last year throwing the football. He has always been a good runner, but he threw the ball a lot better last year. Now, he is back for his last season and should be one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC.
7. Cameron Ward, Miami
Ward is another talented quarterback, but he needs to improve his decision-making because he has way too many turnovers. He transferred to Miami, so he should be around a more talented team. Ward has all the skills to play inside and outside the pocket, but he needs to progress and make strides this season.
8. Brady Cook, Missouri
Cook had an excellent season for a surprising Missouri team that won 11 games last year. Cook is a gamer and constantly made a ton of plays for Missouri in 2023. He should be even better this season.

9. Noah Fifita, Arizona
Fifita is somewhat of an unknown player in college football circles, but he is a talented player. He had an outstanding season for a surprising Arizona team in 2023. He should be even better after last year’s experience.
10. D.J. Uiagalelei, Florida State
Uiagalelei has had an up-and-down college career between Clemson and Oregon State, but he showed more consistency last year. I expect him to have a good year for Mike Norvell and Florida State in 2024.
