Thursday Night Football DFS: Week 13

DFS

Week 13 of the NFL is here and to kick things off, we got America’s team on Thursday Night Football. The Dallas Cowboys will head into New Orleans to face off against the Saints. The Saints have lost four in a row while the Cowboys have lost three of their last four. Both teams need a win to get back on track for a playoff push so, this should be an entertaining game. Let’s take a look at the top players for tonight’s game.

DraftKings Captain | FanDuel MVP

Ezekiel Elliott (DK 16,200 | FD 14,000)

Elliott has had a lingering knee injury the past couple of weeks. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said they expect Elliott to have a serious workload tonight. Jones paid Elliott his big contract and he wants to see that investment on the field. Don’t be surprised if Elliott has one of his biggest workloads of the season. Especially with the extra days of rest before the Cowboys’ next game.

Flex Plays

CeeDee Lamb (DK 10,000 | FD 13,000)

Lamb will be back this week after missing last week’s game because of a concussion. Amari Cooper is expected to play but it is unclear how much he has been affected by Covid-19. If Cooper has some lingering effects, Lamb could see a bigger number of targets along with Michael Gallup. Furthermore, Cooper will likely draw Marshon Lattimore forcing Dak Prescott to look Lamb’s way even more.

Taysom Hill (DK 9,600 | FD 7,000)

Hill was announced as the starting quarterback yesterday. The Saint’s injuries have piled up and there aren’t many great fantasy options on offense. Especially, with the Saints already lacking receivers. With Hill, they will be running the ball a lot more. He is one of the only Saints players worth rostering in this matchup and will be among the highest scorers. He is a mortal lock on FanDuel, as he is probably the cheapest starting quarterback you’ll see on a single-game slate all year.

Mark Ingram (DK 5,000 | FD 12,000)

Alvin Kamara is questionable and it seems likely he will play. However, with Hill at quarterback, the Saints will focus on the rushing attack. Kamara will likely not see a full workload after missing three games with a knee injury. Furthermore, the Cowboys’ defense has given up a rushing touchdown in back-to-back games. Ingram will get a solid amount of carries and targets in this game. He has plenty of an opportunity to provide value at his price on DraftKings. On FanDuel, he is still a solid play because of the salary you save with Hill.
