Thursday Night DFS: Week 7

This week’s Thursday Night Football game will feature the Denver Broncos heading into Cleveland to face the Browns. Just a few weeks ago this game was looking like it was going to be a great battle between two good teams in the AFC. Now both teams are coming in banged up and on losing streaks. Don’t worry though because fantasy teams and DFS will still make this game somewhat appealing.

DraftKings Captain | FanDuel MVP

Courtland Sutton (DK 15,000 | FD 12,500)

It appears Sutton has officially made a full recovery after his ACL injury last season. He is coming into this game having scored a touchdown in his two previous games. In those two games, he has seen 25 targets. Sutton is their No. 1 receiving option and will continue getting peppered with targets no matter who the quarterback is. Look for him to keep his touchdown streak alive.

Flex Plays

Javonte Williams (DK 7,000 | FD 9,000)

The Broncos backfield is still right around a 50/50 split. However, Williams has made explosive plays all year. He makes things happen almost every time he touches the ball. He is also a good receiving back out of the backfield. This slate is ugly and he’s one of the highest upside players on the slate due to his big playability.

Demetric Felton (DK 5,000 | FD 8,000)

Felton is going to be the receiving back for Cleveland this week. Almost all of Cleveland’s top weapons are out for this game. Case Keenum will also be the quarterback. The last time Keenum started a football game was in 2019 for the Washington Redskins. That season he consistently threw to Chris Thompson out of the backfield. This game should be no different with Felton.

Brandon McManus (DK 4,200 | FD 9,000)

McManus has yet to miss a field goal all season. This game could be a struggle for both teams to manufacture touchdowns. Field goals and kickers will be key on this slate. If McManus can kick three or four fields goals, he will be in the optimal lineup. The Browns have a solid defense so look for them to stall out some of Denver’s drives and force McManus to kick field goals.
