1992 – The Washington Redskins defeat the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl 26, 37-24. Mark Rypien named MVP.

1997 – The Green Bay Packers defeat the Patriots in Super Bowl 31, 35-21. Desmond Howard named MVP.

2003 – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl 37, 48-21. Dexter Jackson named MVP.

1989 – The Detroit Red Wings’ Steve Yzerman becomes fourth NHL player to record 100 points in 50 games or less.

2000 – Karl Malone becomes the third player in NBA history to score 30,000 career points, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain.

1994 – The Cowboys defeat the Bills in Super Bowl 28, 30-13. Emmitt Smith named MVP.

2000 – The Rams defeat the Titans in Super Bowl 34, 23-16. Kurt Warner named MVP.

2018 – James Harden puts up the highest-scoring triple-double in NBA history (60 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists).

1988 – The Redskins defeat the Broncos in Super Bowl 22, 42-10. Doug Williams named MVP.

1993 – The Cowboys defeat the Bills in Super Bowl 27, 52-17. Troy Aikman named MVP.

1999 – The Broncos defeat the Falcons in Super Bowl 33, 34-19. John Elway named MVP.

2004 – The Patriots defeat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 38, 32-29. Tom Brady named MVP. During the halftime performance, Janet Jackson experiences a wardrobe malfunction on live television in front of the nation.

2009 – The Steelers defeat the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl 43, 27-23. Santonio Holmes named MVP.

2015 – The Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49, 28-24. Tom Brady named MVP.
