#19 Richmond 77 vs. Wofford 72
Richmond stayed at #19 in the new AP Rankings this week and backed it up with a win yesterday. Jacob Gilyard scored 18 points with six assists to lead the Spiders to their third win of the season.
Games to Watch Today
#8 Creighton vs. #5 Kansas
How to Watch: Tuesday, December 8, 5:00 PM ET, ESPN
This game should be in primetime, but there are two blue-blood programs also in action tonight. Kansas has leaped two spots in the rankings after beating Kentucky last week.
Creighton has quietly risen to the eighth spot after starting the season 3-0. This will be their first real test before they start playing their conference schedule.
#16 North Carolina vs. #3 Iowa
How to Watch: Tuesday, December 8, 7:30 PM ET, ESPN
North Carolina is looking to rebound from losing to Texas last week in the Maui Invitational. Roy Williams has another young squad and will have their hands full against Luka Garza, the frontrunner for the player of the year.
Garza scored 36 points in one half earlier this season and is averaging 34 points a game as a senior for the Hawkeyes.
#6 Illinois vs. #10 Duke
How to Watch: Tuesday, December 8, 9:30 PM ET, ESPN
Duke was upset by Michigan State in the Champions Classic last week and will be looking to pull off an upset of their own against the Fighting Illini. The Blue Devils will get another home game, their fourth consecutive game at Cameron Indoor Stadium to start the year.
