Tchouaméni joins Los Blancos on a six-year deal. Real Madrid faced serious competition in their quest to acquire the 22-year-old French defensive midfielder, as Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain were also in the mix. Last season, Tchouaméni registered 86 tackles and 101 interceptions in 35 games. Also, his 64 percent winning percentage in 400+ duels is the best among all midfielders.

The Camavinga and Tchouaméni Dynamic Duo

Eduardo Camavinga and Tchouaméni know each other very well. They have played against each other during their time in French Ligue 1. Camavinga arrived in Madrid last August and immediately began making a strong and positive impact, notably in the Champions League knockout stage. He wasted no time in taking his career to the next level. Tchouaméni is ready to do the same.

With their combined skills, the two have the potential of becoming one of Europe’s most dangerous midfield duos. Tchouaméni is known for his brilliant and dominating defensive play style. Camavinga is known for his ability to dribble, pass, and create scoring chances. In addition, the pair only get stronger with the added skills of Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde.

Real Madrid has been on a mission in grooming their young players to be key players in the club’s future. Los Blancos has made tremendous progress with Camavinga along with the likes of Valverde, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Júnior. The club is now ready to further develop Tchouaméni. Real Madrid’s main objective is to invest in the future of the club. Under the leadership of manager Carlo Ancelotti and veteran midfielders Casemiro, Luka Modrić, and Toni Kroos, Tchouaméni will adapt and utilize his unique and skills in a more competitive environment.
