The Tennessee Titans, coming off a loss, head to Denver to take on the Broncos, fresh off their first win of the season, for this Week 6 contest.
The big story out of Tennessee this week was the release of kicker Cairo Santos after he missed three field goals and had a fourth attempt blocked against the Bills. The Titans signed Cody Parkey, the former Chicago Bears kicker whose game-winning field goal attempt to win a playoff game bounced off the uprights twice and missed.
The story out of Denver is head coach Vic Fangio getting his first victory, and celebrating a complete game by the entire team.
The Titans lead this all-time series 22-15-1 and they have won two of the last three.
Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 13 of 22 passes for 183 yards last week. He is the only quarterback in the NFL to start every game in 2019 and have no turnovers. Meanwhile, Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco completed 14 of 20 passes for 182 yards with a touchdown and an interception last week.
Titans running back Derrick Henry led the team with 78 rushing yards and a touchdown last week. He has a touchdown in four of the past five games. Since Week 14 of 2018, Henry leads the NFL in rushing yards (973) and rushing touchdowns (10).
Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay had a season-high 147 scrimmage yards (114 rushing and 33 receiving) and a rushing touchdown last week. Meanwhile, fellow running back Royce Freeman had 61 rushing yards in Week 5.
Lindsay (469) and Freeman (353) are the only pair of running back teammates with over 350 scrimmage yards each this season.
Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown ranks second among AFC rookies in receiving yards (250). Teammate Adam Humphries had a team-high four catches last week. On the other side, Denver receiver Courtland Sutton had four catches for a team-high 92 yards and a touchdown last week. He’s aiming for his third game in a row with a touchdown catch.
Titans linebacker Harold Landry had seven tackles and a sack last week against the Bills, while Broncos linebacker Von Miller has 10-and-a-half sacks in his past 10 games at home. Denver linebacker Alexander Johnson had nine tackles and his first career interception in Week 5.
Titans safety Kevin Byard had five tackles and an interception in Week 5 while Broncos safety Justin Simmons had his eighth career interception last week. Kareem Jackson had a team-high 10 tackles and a forced fumble in Week 5.

Prediction
The Titans’ kicking game is the biggest question mark, but if the team is in a fourth-down situation where it would be a long field goal attempt, coach Vrabel will opt to go for it with his offense instead of attempting the kick. Also, the offensive line will be successful in protecting Marcus Mariota. The Titans’ offense will make enough plays to pull out a win.
